What do you think about using five LinkedIn accounts to send 100 connection requests per day each?

I start by warming up the conversation with genuine compliments and curiosity before mentioning what I do; it’s about building real connections first and sharing the offer naturally. It’s hard to say whether this is a good idea because it depends on implementation. I generally don’t like the ‘real connections first’ approach because pretending to follow someone long‑term just to connect can feel misleading. Some people do like it, and if done intelligently it can work. Sending 100 connection requests per day on each of five accounts, with a limit of about 100 conversations per day, means you can only pursue roughly 50 new leads daily if you also need to follow up with a sales message. Anyway, Dale Land wants to connect—feel free to hit him up.

How can I scale LinkedIn outbound outreach beyond the daily limit of about 100‑150 connection requests?

LinkedIn safely allows roughly 100‑150 connection requests per day before you risk a ban. To scale beyond that you’d need to purchase additional LinkedIn accounts, which runs into the same moral and legal concerns as buying email accounts. Most companies in the Netherlands worry about GDPR, so if you target US prospects or route outreach through your own company the risk is lower. Ultimately, the only realistic path to higher volume is to use multiple accounts, but that reintroduces the same issues you’re trying to avoid.

What LinkedIn connection request volume do you recommend daily and weekly for a 2‑year‑old account versus a brand‑new account?

Unfortunately, LinkedIn is very sensitive to connection request volumes. For a totally new account, I’d suggest about 10‑15 requests per day (roughly 105 per week); LinkedIn will likely throttle you around 100 per week, so you may get blocked eventually—just a notice to slow down. For a 2‑year‑old account with 250 connections and prior messaging, you can probably do around 20 requests per day. If you have LinkedIn Premium, you’ll get better results.

What is a roadmap for building visibility and trust on LinkedIn to get first clients via organic strategies (content, posting, case studies, etc.)?

He says he’s not an expert in organic LinkedIn but would combine daily value‑posting with outbound connection requests (≈20/day, ~100/week), automate the outreach, grow connections, test multiple content types (FOMO, case studies, etc.), then double down on the top performers.

What makes a good LinkedIn connection request note and how should I write one?

A good note should be brief, reference something specific about the prospect’s recent post, and be plausibly deniable—not a hard sell. For example: “Hey Pete, saw your post on X and thought Y. Would love to connect.” The goal is to add value for both parties, increase their connection count, and open the door for future engagement. Keep it short, avoid sales language, and focus on genuine interest.
