Where can I find your videos on starting an AI business, and could you create a short masterclass on copywriting sales calls?

Sure, I can put together a short masterclass on copywriting sales calls and how to close automation clients. I won’t be able to do it live during the video because it would take away time from answering other questions, but I’m planning a longer sales masterclass in the future. In the meantime, you can search for ‘Nick Sarif copywriting’ on YouTube; I have several videos on that topic already.

Since YouTube is your main acquisition channel, which of your videos bring you 90% of customers for Maker School?

It's almost entirely my long-form course videos about AI and automation specifically. Let me go and find one of these; it's almost always just like my crazy long-form ones. For example, the N8N full course one—what I learned instead of automation in 2026, watch me start and sell a service in 10 hours, five boring AI automations, and then build your first ad business in 6 hours. Anyway, hopefully that was fun, but damn, man. Pay attention to people's eyes from here on out because you never know.

Which videos do you recommend I start watching first to set up my agency?

I’d start with the 80 % of AI automation basics in under 30 minutes—watch the ‘AI Automation Basics’ video. Then move on to my full Naden course or the Make.com Nick’s Archive playlist. Those will teach you the automation skills you need. The 80/20 approach gives you the basics quickly, and remember that automation is just a business like any other; once you learn how to build an AI automation business you’ll do most of the work with a few simple tools.

Your channel has a lot of guides and helpful content, but I'm confused about where to start — I found your 8-hour video and got lost. What type of project should I practice with?

Simplest path: start with 'Build Your First AI Business in 6 Hours,' then the n8n full course (6 hours, build and sell automations plus agents), then n8n-specific build videos if you're using n8n, plus the prompt engineering video that's trending right now. That's enough to get going — everything else from there is just extra.

If I want to catch up with what you're doing, where should I start? Is there a solid foundational video?

Start with the "80% Automation Basics" video – it's about 29 minutes and covers the high‑level concepts. Then watch the "How I Made $100,000 a Month as an AI Solopreneur" video for a concrete example. After that, check out the "Build a Profitable AI Business in 2025 for Beginners" video. Once you have the basics, you can dive into the NAND course or the Make.com tutorials to learn how to actually build software and automation solutions, and also watch the "How to Build and Scale an Automation Agency" video for agency‑specific guidance.
