You talked about doing live calls versus responding to messages with Loom — do you still do once-a-month live calls, and do you reply to the rest of the questions in chat with a recorded one-on-one answer?

Right now I do one weekly call inside Maker School. There's also a bi-weekly event run by a friend and colleague, Connor Kaplan (a sales pro), who does live sales roleplay for free, out of goodwill and for the exposure. For my other community, Make Money with Make, I run two events: a 25-minute “agency hot seat” where I sit someone down, have them share their stats, and walk through how to improve their business live in front of everyone else — part live consultation, part accountability, part letting people see how I think through business problems. There's also a weekly office hour, plus a Friday fireside chat hosted by another friend and colleague, Santi.

What is your daily schedule, and do you take sales calls in your agency?

My typical day: I wake up, handle community management, write briefs for the writers I hired for YouTube content, review their previous day’s work, experiment with content structure, record those pieces, then record my daily update video. If I have community calls, I do them in the morning. After that, everything else is agency work for Leftclick—administrative, miscellaneous tasks, and sales calls. I only take sales calls that are big, higher‑ROI leads (e.g., a franchise owner with a painting company making $1M/month); I skip small‑ticket items that aren’t a good use of my time.

What’s inside Maker School? Can you detail the program length, content, relationship building, and what’s new?

Maker School includes a 12‑minute video sales letter that walks you through the entire program top to bottom. The core promise is a 90‑day money‑back guarantee: if you follow the steps, you’ll have your first client by the end of day 90. After that, you get an additional three months of daily step‑by‑step resources, templates, outreach recommendations, and custom videos from me. I personally respond to about 90% of every thread posted inside the community, and you also get weekly calls with me plus weekly or bi‑weekly calls with a sales professional for live, hands‑on sales training. The community’s margins are around 98% because I run everything myself—I’m the only one operating it, leading by example, showing up daily, pitching accountability, and providing everything you need to execute the high‑revenue generating activities I teach. In short, it’s a tight‑knit, high‑touch program built around proven, actionable steps.

What's the difference between doing one call per week and a daily Q&A?

The daily Q&A is for my community product called Maker School, which is the simplest design path to getting your first AI automation customer and is often ranked number one or two in the school games. I made a video explaining how I did it, which is one of the more popular videos on the daily updates channel. The difference is that the daily Q&A is text-based: I go through the vast majority of posts in the community each day and answer questions myself. In contrast, the one call per week is a Zoom chat where only about 10-15% of the group attends. With a 2,650-member group, that's roughly 200 people on calls, whereas about 90% see the text posts. I find it more efficient to provide value where the majority of people see it, rather than relying on the smaller, more engaged call audience.

Can you walk me through your actual daily routine?

I wake up between 5 and 6 a.m., letting nature wake me instead of an alarm to avoid adrenaline spikes. First I check my higher‑ticket community (Make Money with Make) and respond to any recent activity—either writing text posts with Aqua dictation or recording custom Loom videos that solve members’ problems. I repeat the same process for the Maker School community, which usually has more roast requests because it’s larger and full of beginners. After that I take a call—either a community call, a coaching session, or a sales call—usually between 8 and 9 a.m.; if it’s at 8 I sometimes get cut off, but at 9 I can finish my prep work beforehand. Once the call ends I’m warmed up and I record the daily updates video. After the video, if I have content for the main channel I film it, then the rest of the day is agency work: reviewing new LeftClick clients, drafting proposal templates, recording Loom videos for prospects, discussing strategy with my business partner Noah, and working with a developer on our website revamp. I finish the day with lower‑value tasks. I order my workflow this way because I start with the activities that generate the most revenue and move down to those that earn less, ensuring I always hit the high‑impact items first.
