How do I know when I’ve learned enough to start selling my AI and automation services?

When you’ve learned about a quarter of what you think you need to know, you’re ready to start selling.

How much time remains before the AI automation space is saturated?

I think sometime over the next 2 to 3 years; I've been saying that for the last 6 months, maybe 2 to 2.5 years. Saturation is a relative term—just because something is called saturated doesn't mean you can't make money in it. Think of saturation like peak oil: the point where the most money is possible using the business model, after which it declines. However, interest in the model and the average impact of systems we build are increasing over time as AI technology improves, so you can still make a lot of money on the way down. If I were you, I'd get up and running with the stuff ASAP, because no market tactic lasts forever, and even if today's tactics stop working, there will be new business models I'll learn about and share with you.

Should I start working with businesses now to gain experience and credibility, or should I spend a couple more months learning AI voice agents first?

Don’t wait for another month of learning—just start reaching out to clients. The gap between a total beginner and someone who can build revenue‑generating systems is only a couple of weeks. You’ve already spent enough time; now put yourself in front of customers. You could have landed your first client a few months ago, so go out and deliver something that drives revenue.

How do I set up automations for a business I don’t understand, like a hotel, and should I start selling or keep learning?

Being a high‑school student isn’t a deal‑breaker—you can still learn the platforms and get comfortable with them before you start selling. Watch a few of my tutorials, get solid on the tools, then begin reaching out to prospects. When you do start selling, you still need to sell them on something, get access to their systems during a kickoff call, and then begin building the automation.

If I want to catch up with what you're doing, where should I start? Is there a solid foundational video?

Start with the "80% Automation Basics" video – it's about 29 minutes and covers the high‑level concepts. Then watch the "How I Made $100,000 a Month as an AI Solopreneur" video for a concrete example. After that, check out the "Build a Profitable AI Business in 2025 for Beginners" video. Once you have the basics, you can dive into the NAND course or the Make.com tutorials to learn how to actually build software and automation solutions, and also watch the "How to Build and Scale an Automation Agency" video for agency‑specific guidance.
