What are your thoughts on doing live content and interactive streams, and how do you schedule them?

I think live content and interactive streams are pretty cool. I've considered doing them, and we even played some video games with Jack Roberts. The biggest challenge for me is finding a way to schedule them. Daily updates are great because I can record a quick video anytime I have a short gap between meetings and use the full 29 minutes efficiently. But trying to slot them into a fixed time slot, like 10:00‑10:30 am, forces me to rearrange my schedule and creates dead time before and after, which is a hassle.

I did consider live streams for the daily updates, but there are several issues. Sometimes I alt‑tab to confidential client information or API keys, and I need the ability to retract that—something easier with recorded videos where I can review and cut out sensitive parts before uploading. Additionally, when I tested a live stream, the quality dropped significantly, likely due to internet limitations. The pros of live streaming are the real‑time interaction and the 'hey I'm live right now' feeling. However, the cons include extra logistical setup, the risk of exposing confidential material, and lower quality. Given that I work with high‑value clients and handle API keys and authorizations, recorded videos make more sense for me.

I’ve experimented with live streaming a bit, but I prefer pre‑recorded content because it lets me release videos anytime. The issue with live streaming is that I'd have to schedule my time and couldn't just speak when I have ideas; I'd have to block everything else out. As a creative person, an open schedule is a high-return way to construct my life. I understand the appeal, but my video pipeline is simply recording and dropping into Dropbox, making it live within minutes. I could try Twitch streaming, but I won't become the news; commenters get at this as well, and there's some value in that.
