How can I fix unstable Loom recordings caused by my computer?

The issue is likely your computer's RAM, not the webcam. When I used a low-end machine with many tabs open, Loom recordings were jittery due to insufficient bit rate. I now use a high-end MacBook (about $5k) that my father recommended; it makes my work far easier. Loom is better than recording with a camera or smartphone because it captures your screen directly and gives you an instant web-accessible link, whereas a camera would require downloading the file, uploading it elsewhere, and sharing the link—three or four extra steps that are a massive pain for my outreach work.
