Can you tell me about the background music you use in your videos?

I use Music Bed, a service that provides access to a large library of licensable music, for which I have a license. Using licensed music on YouTube avoids monetization claims and copyright strikes. I think Music Bed is the service you're referring to, though I may use a couple of others. There's a ton of music available; you could Shazam to identify a specific track. I've given the music to my editor, and we now use a variety of songs. Hopefully that makes sense.

What do you use for audio processing in your videos?

I use a simple Dropbox‑based pipeline: after recording, I drop the file into a folder with a set name (like off_du April), and it automatically publishes to YouTube, adds the audio effects, and can even create chapter timestamps.

What tool do you use to film your YouTube videos as a free Loom alternative for longer‑form content?

I use OBS (Open Broadcast Studio), a free software platform that lets you switch between full‑screen desktop, your face, and a picture‑in‑picture view. It works like a camera, supports custom backgrounds, and even includes built‑in streaming and chat features. You can record videos with screen share, stream, and add a green screen if you want. Spend a couple of hours learning how to use OBS and you’ll be set.

How do you come up with ideas for YouTube videos?

I basically look at YouTube comments, see what people are asking, and then make videos about those topics. It’s one of the quickest and easiest ways to create content, and it also makes the audience feel heard.

Is the content strategy you're using for main channel different category videos each day similar to the one I suggested?

Hell yeah, I’ve finalized the YouTube strategist role. Malik sent me a detailed pitch with thumbnails, a script, outlines, and positioning tips—I brought him on because he flooded me with value and speaks my language. Thanks to everyone who applied; I’m happy to give feedback if you ask, and I’ll have more room on the team as we grow.
